Inc. Names Bent Ear Solutions to Its 2026 List of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Mid-Atlantic

Bent Ear Solutions is recognized in the regional ranking for the third consecutive year (2024 | 2025 | 2026).

Alexandria, VA | April 2, 2026 – Inc., the leading media brand and playbook for entrepreneurs and business leaders shaping our future, today revealed that Bent Ear Solutions (BES) has been ranked No. 81 on its sixth annual Inc. Regionals: Mid-Atlantic list – the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Mid-Atlantic. The region includes Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina.

An extension of the national Inc. 5000 list, the Regionals list offers a data-driven look at the independent small businesses driving growth across the Mid-Atlantic economy. Companies on this year’s list demonstrate exceptional revenue expansion, resilience, and job creation during a challenging economic period.

This recognition belongs to the entire BES team. Three consecutive years on this list reflect the continued trust our clients place in us and our team’s willingness to push into new territory. Fueling this continued growth is the launch of our Data Services program, anchored by Ting Insights, which has opened an entirely new market for BES. To every partner, teammate, and customer who has supported us: Thank you.
— Chris McIntosh, Co-Founder & CEO

‍Between 2022 and 2024, these 137 private companies had a median growth rate of 74 percent; by 2024, they’d also added 8,399 jobs and $10.6 billion to the region’s economy.‍ ‍

Their resilience made them standouts in their industries and true growth engines in their regions.

About Bent Ear Solutions

Bent Ear Solutions is a GIS-first technology integration and consulting firm that assists organizations across government, critical infrastructure, and enterprise sectors in making faster, more informed decisions during high-risk events and daily operations. BES specializes in converting complex, disparate data and technology into actionable situational-awareness tools without requiring additional software investments. In 2025, BES expanded its offerings with the launch of its Data Services program, built on Ting Insights, a real-time power-outage intelligence feed based on IoT sensor data from Whisker Labs, delivered as ArcGIS-compatible feature layers. The Data Services program marked a significant new revenue stream for BES, contributing directly to the company’s steady growth and its third consecutive appearance on the Inc. Regionals list.

Methodology

The Inc. Regionals list is ranked based on percentage revenue growth over two years. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022. They need to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2024. (Since then, some companies on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue for 2022 is $100,000, and for 2024, it is $1 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to reject applicants for subjective reasons.
